Pflugerville Industry Leadership Council Meeting


The Pflugerville ISD Career and Technical Education team is seeking participants for the Industry Leadership Council kick-off lunch meeting on Dec. 5 at the PfISD Administration Building. Experts in the fields of industry, post-secondary education, or community engagement are welcome to attend and provide input that will help the district develop and maintain high-quality CTE programs that prepare students for in-demand occupations in our region.

Goals of the meeting include introducing the CTE programs currently offered in PfISD, explaining the purpose of the Industry Leadership Council, connecting industry, postsecondary, and community leaders with PfISD CTE teachers and students, and soliciting input on employer needs, skills gaps, postsecondary preparation gaps, and emerging industry trends.

Manor ISD School Resource Fair

Manor ISD's 19th Annual Resource Fair and School Supply will be held Tuesday, August 13th from 9 am-1 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for parents and students to learn about resources from the Manor and Austin communities.

The event is open to all Manor ISD students and families and is Manor ISD's way of kicking off the 2019-20 school year. There will be free school supplies and haircuts for students. Free and reduced lunch applications will also be accepted.
